Annual Fund

The Annual Fund is a core component the fundraising program at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic School. The gifts raised through the Annual Fund support our students directly by enhancing curricular programs and student services.

Our students are grateful for the generous support of parents, faculty/staff, alumni, parents of alumni, grandparents and friends. Your donations will ensure our school’s commitment to provide our students with an outstanding Catholic education in a Christ-centered environment.

What is the Annual Fund?

The Annual Fund is a core component of annual giving. It is the most important fundraiser at St. Catherine’s. Our tuition does not cover the full cost to educate each child. Gifts from the Annual Fund enable us to support and meet the needs of all the students at St. Catherine's.

Who supports the Annual Fund?

Parents, grandparents, alumni, parents of alumni, grandparents and faculty/staff of the community are all encouraged to participate in the Annual Fund. The success of the Annual Fund depends on the FULL participation of the community. Our goal is to achieve 100% participation from our school community.

How much am I expected to contribute?

Donors are asked to support the Annual Fund to the best of their ability. There is a wide range of gifts, from $10.00 to $5,000. The Annual Fund is the one activity in the year in which each family is strongly encouraged to participate.

How do I go about getting a matching gift from my employer?

Matching gifts are a great way to leverage your gifts to St. Catherine's. Contact your company's Human Resources Department to see if your company has a matching gift program and obtain the necessary paperwork to initiate a match.

Are Annual Fund gifts tax-deductible?

Yes! Gifts to St. Catherine of Siena Catholic School {a 501c(3) non-profit charitable organization} is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please consult with a financial advisor.

What if I want to give stock?

Gifts of appreciated securities are greatly appreciated. When you donate stock that has increased in value over the years, you do not pay capital gains tax. Please be sure to call the Development Office to alert us that a stock donation is forthcoming.

Can I pay monthly?

You can make a one-time payment, via your school FACTS account, designating a particular day of the month. You also have the option to have a monthly withdrawal from your chosen financial institution through VANCO Services.

When is payment due?

All pledges and contributions must be paid in full no than June 30th of the fiscal year.


Matching Gifts Many corporations offer as a benefit to their employees a Matching Gift Program. Please ask the Human Resources Department of your employer for a matching gift form. This is an excellent way to increase your gift and support Catholic education.

Gifts-in-Kind
The parents and parishioners of St. Catherine’s continue in their generous donation of their time and talent. Please consider donating your expertise or services to help St. Catherine’s School. Some gifts that have been already received include printing, web page design, food and beverage donations, photography and mural design, and equipment for our technology lab.
