Advent Poetry Contest

December 21, 2020
By SCS

In celebration of the season of Advent, SCS Media Specialist, Mrs. Burchfield, organized an Advent Poetry Contest, inviting students of 5-8th Grades to reflect upon the spirituality of the season, rather than secular aspects. Students were asked to use focus on imagery, include detail, and incorporate rhyme or rhythm in their entries. Winners were announced December 17th and were sent gift card prizes.
