What an amazing Moms' Retreat this past weekend! We had a full house! Literally. 

The Sisters at the Bethany House made our moms feel so special. Our SCS Sisters prepared incredibly inspiring presentations, and there were so many beautiful opportunities for times of reflection and silence mixed with vibrant, meaningful small group discussions. Most of all, these hardworking mothers got to relax and retreat with the LORD! O

ur theme this year was “Our Journey HOME is through the EUCHARIST.” Particularly addressing the chaos, we all face, in this upside down world in which we are living. It is very similar to the apostles in the boat during the storm, waves crashing and wind howling. We need to grab Jesus’ hand and allow Him to guide us through the chaos. He presents His hand to us daily in the Eucharist. What a gift! 

We are so glad that our SCS moms could join us and grateful to our amazing Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia for their help in this amazing retreat!
